Eike Voss is an industrial designer with a background in product-, exhibition- and furniture design.
He graduated from Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design in 2016 with a Bachelor in Industrial Design before interning at London and Hamburg based product design studio PostlerFerguson. In 2017 he joined them as Industrial Designer for projects in London & Hamburg. Seeking to continue his design education, he moved to Berlin in 2018 to join the Product Design masters programme at the University of the Arts Berlin from which he graduated in 2021. During his time in Berlin he teamed up with designer Sascha Huth to work on projects in art and design before creating the exhibition system APS™ together in 2020. Since September 2021 Eike works for one of the worlds leading outdoor furniture brands DEDON working parts in Germany and on the Philippines.
Within industrial design he is fascinated by the interplay between product and production method. Seeking for a balance between materials, methods of production and environmental as well as sustainability factors. To him, modern product design is about reflecting on existing assumptions, questioning the way products are produced and trying to pursue new approaches.
